Blues For Carly And Linda is an instrumental song that I write based on the guitar verse that I use at the beginning of each episode of my YouTube series about my Parkinson’s. Carly recently disclosed her diagnosis and I was immediately reminded of album covers from both her and Linda Rondstat’s in 1975. Suno Ai did an amazing job recreating my guitar parts. Back To The Future Again is my tribute to the most amazing man in the world. I was deliberately going for something in the style of Earth Wind and Fire. But it didn’t really nail it. Maybe more Steely Dan. Morduch sings this one.

Good Times On Fire is a song I wrote after seeing “Michael” with my son who was a huge Michael Jackson fan in the 90s. I did my best to do a new jack shuffle. Vocals David Rabinow.

Walking In My Sleep originally title Tribute To Santo And Johnny. In 2001 I wanted to make a cover of the Classic “Sleepwalk” to post on mp3.com. I followed their rules by getting a license to record and distribute from BMI. When I posted it mp3.com told me they couldn’t put it up because BMI had, that day, decided to rescind licenses for streaming audio. So you can’t copywriter a chord progression and Sleepwalk is a very common 1-6-4-5 (C-Am-F-G)  progression. EXCEPT the 4 is a 4 minor. That F minor chord is an essential component of Sleepwalk.

I wrote a new melody to the chords and submitted it to BMI and they assured me that I was not violating any copywriter. Every collection or album I’ve ever created includes a version of this song. But this one is really unique.
